It is time for the Dos and Don'ts of Summer Footwear.

Summer Wear DOs and DONTs Part 1

Many people are wondering what's in fashion and what's not? I mean if it was easy to keep up with it wouldn't be called fashion right? Many people wonder how to dress down on a boiling hot summer day without wearing short shorts and a tank top. Here are a few styles that should help you cool down this July. here are a few dos that should keep you in budget and don'ts that need to be donated.

First Up Do wear summer dresses: Summer is here and that means it's time for you to kick off those sneakers, ditch the jacket, and leave your jeans in the closet because for the last few months of summer you'll be living in the season's must-have staple:  the fun & easy; summer dress. Think about it: they’re comfy, breezy and can easily be dressed up or down with the right accessories. Yes, the perfect summer dress is something you can throw on before sipping lemonade in your backyard and then wear with your favorite wedges the next time you go out.

The utilitarian military look.

Skinny jeans.

The prairie look. Thanks for nothing, Urban Outfitters!

Gothic, Rick Owens-style attire. How depressing.

Boring, all-white ensembles.

Jelly.

A rock.

Peanut butter has carbs, right? Keep it away!

Really? Peanut butter is so last year. It's all about almond butter now.

A triple-decker jelly, honey, and marshmallow fluff sandwich.

A leather skirt with an up-to-there slit.

Shorts and a tank ... maybe with a cardigan, too, if it's chilly.

A romper and a beat-up denim jacket I found at a consignment shop.

The standard fare: a cheese board, chips and salsa, and some cut veggies.

What hors d'oeuvres? I just served champagne.

Grilled Brussels sprouts, artisan chocolate, and PBR.

My own attempt at molecular gastronomy: Chocolate-covered bacon strips.

Cupcakes! They were colorful and delicious.

10. What would you not be caught dead wearing?

A pencil skirt and blouse

Birthday Suit

Evening gown and 8 inch stilletos

A low cut mini skirt and sparkly top?

Jeans and a tank: Umm no too casual
